主讲人简介： 

 Dr. Zhenhua Huang is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Ocean and Resources Engineering at the University of Hawaii at Manoa(UHM). He received both his B.E. and M.E. degrees in Applied Mechanics from Tsinghua University, and his Ph.D. in Environmental Fluid  Mechanics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.  Prior to joining UHM, he was an Assistant Professor at Nanyang Technological University, and a Principal Investigator at the Earth Observatory of Singapore. His research interests include hydrodynamics of coastal and offshore structures, near-shore ocean waves and coastal sediment transport, two-phase flows, and tsunami hazard mitigation. His research has advanced our understanding of slotted breakwaters, waver energy converters, integration of wave energy extraction devices with breakwaters,tsunami-induced inundation and change of coastal morphology, and parametrization in two-phase/granular flow models. He has published more than 65 peer-reviewed journal papers, including 55 SCI (Web of Science) papers and 4 EI (Engineering Village) papers. He has graduated 4 PhD students and more than 10 Master students, and supervised 7 postdoctoral research fellows.  He currently serves on the editorial boards of two SCI journals and the international steering committee of Asian and Pacific Coasts (APAC).

黄振华博士是美国夏威夷大学的终身教授。他早年就读于清华大学应用力学专业，获学士和硕士学位。之后留学美国，就读于麻省理工学院环境流体力学专业，获博士学位。他曾在中国科学院、新加坡南洋理工大学、新加坡地球物理研究中心等国际著名研究机构和高校从事过科研和教学工作。他的研究领域包括：近海和深海结构物的水动力、海岸波动力学及泥沙输运、两相流体动力学及海啸减灾等方面。他的研究成果有开槽式、水平板式等新型防波堤的散射特性；新型波能转换器、波能转换器及防波堤集成方案；海啸诱导的洪水泛滥及海岸地形演化规律；两相流动及颗粒流动的参数化。他在国际著名杂质上发表论文65篇，其中，55篇被SCI收录，4篇被EI收录。他指导毕业的博士生4名，硕士生十余名。并指导过博士后7名。他目前是两个SCI杂质及亚太海岸国际协会（APAC）的编辑。
